The People

This is your chance to find out something* about some of the people involved in the wedding:

The Bride:

Allyson was born in Lanark and raised in Darvel, in the farmlands of Ayrshire, Scotland. After completing her degree in Glasgow and PhD in London, she moved to Dundee where she fell head over heels in love with Mick at first sight.

The Groom:

Mick was born in Kidwelly, South Wales and grew up in Redditch, England. He studied in York, spent a year in the Netherlands then ended up in Brighton for his PhD. He only found lifelong happiness upon moving to Dundee and meeting the stunning redhead he was destined to spend the rest of his life with.

The two best men, Jim and Dave, are Mick's oldest friends and grew up with him in Redditch. Jim is a full-time Artist , and Dave is planning to walk across America for a year (tribute to Forest Gump?). They are both Brighton residents and home-owners (house shown not actual size).

The Parents of the Bride

Allyson's parents, John and Kathleen Clelland, have known her for all of her life and are still quite fond of her. But they were quite quick to come up with a huge dowry (200 camels and a packet of bacon crisps).

John and Kathleen Clelland can be contacted at:

The Official Photographer:

Stu, another one of Mick's old friends, is more of an Arty photographer than a weddings-kind-of-guy, having some of his work in the permanent collection in the Welsh national gallery (next to a Monet). He's the one on the left.

The Illustrator:

Laura is a budding young glaswegian illustrator who shares Allyson's love of red shoes. Her favourite subject matter is dogs in dresses.

The Dressmaker

Allyson's secret creation is being made by Lin in nearby Dunkeld
